Case Packer 1
Active Automation was asked by a well known food service packaging company to construct a machine that would combine two packaging machines into one. With a break through design Active Automation was able to perform seamless changeovers between two different products, essentially, running two different size rolls (For example: Large Diameter 12” & Small Diameter 18”) at the same time. This was accomplished using Siemens Simatics Servo and Festo Pneumatic and I/O technologies.
