Original Design with central switching location and two leading edges where jams can occour
For a local Toronto bakery a newly installed piece of equipment wasn't functioning satisfactory. There were constant jams and considerable downtime while making the necessary repairs. Active Automation was retained to solve this issue, a detailed analysis was performed on the current design and approximately 10 points were identified as areas of improvement. We provided a new electrical control system with simplified operator interface, new switching mechanism, and revamped pneumatic controls that have allowed the machine to run without incident since installation. |
